I finished reading "Rebeca's First Pet," with my two twin boys (age three). I am happy to report that they loved it and where asking me to read it again. The eBook Cover is illustrated perfectly painting a beautiful picture that sets the stage for the storyline and plot theme, which I personally felt was original and unique. Definitely made our night time reading so much fun for the three of us. I should mention that both my boys are now getting into reading, or a least trying to read, and well this book captivated their imagination in an amazing fashion that was simply impressive to say the least. Their love for animals I think was the key that sparked their creative bubbles allowing the story to flow effortlessly in a memorable way. The questions / quiz at the end of the book was an added plus that helped engage the story and message all the more. This is a must read for all parents and children.5 Stars for Author Alicia Ellison Grant.

I just finished reading this fun children's book called `Rebecca's First Pet' by Alicia Ellison Grant. This is a good eBook for children who are discovering the love of reading. It has a good message which will inspire their love for animals. In this story Rebecca learns about different animals, with the help of her parents and has to come to a decision about which one to choose when she goes to the pet store.
I like how the book also takes an additional step to test the children's knowledge at the end and gives them a quiz to test their memory on what they read. I think children who are just starting to read will really enjoy this one as it covers a fun subject that will keep their interest.
